Trans-dimensional text message machine

Each universe (orb) holds a trans-dimensional text message machine letting participants send messages, warnings, advice, or words of encouragement to their friends and their past, future, or alter-selves in each parallel universe orb. However, upon moving through the multiverse the participant finds their messages slightly transformed between one universe and the next. Time crystals along the cables connecting the communication consoles between the orbs will be lit with colored LEDs to represent the transmission/transformation of the messages across realms.
