A new Burning Man Project
Chronotron
What is it, and Why should I contribute?
Chronotron is an abstract representation of the idea of multiverses via bubbles which are expanding and branching off into other bubbles, some of which pop and collapse while others are being created. These represent alternate timelines with different possible outcomes. I've been told it is evocative of a heart, which though initially unintentional I've embraced, as it is relevant to the theme of heartbreak, and yearning for a different outcome. Yearning for a different outcome is a theme that I believe we all can relate to.
At the core of regret is communication. Most regrets stem from communication failure. The CHRONOTRON is about communication.

The Chronotron
Entering the Chronotron, participants are invited within the sculpture where they experience another dimension of spacetime, a different point of view with alternate possibilities.
Inspiration
Steven Hawking
Stephen Hawking's Final Theory About Our Universe Has Just Been Published, And It Will Melt Your Brain
Lindsey Elcessor
Lindsey's artwork and recent work in animation has inspired the artist because it has a sense of desolation combined with beauty to give the perfect look and feel for telling this story.
Free Spirit Treehouses
I saw this story, and was intrigued by the construction technique. This is clearly the way to make multiverses for Burning Man
The story that inspires this project
A sci-fi tale of heartbreak, multiverses and unintended consequences.
